Pinkalicious..

I mean, what else does a Reading Specialist//former Kindergarten teacher’s daughter name a post where she’s wearing pink everything?! If you have kids/nieces/etc. or are a teacher.. or just have any exposure to children’s books – Pinkalicious is a book about a little girl who loves pink everything! It’s a cute one, a personal favorite since I can relate (aside from Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!).
On the other hand, I highly recommend this chunky, massive, cozy & soft scarf from Nasty Gal! It’s definitely functional for staying warm – but I think it makes an even better accessory. 🙂 By the way, Fitz has agrees – he thinks it makes a great toy..

Sidenote – I have had people ask about how I wrap my scarves – and I did this one just the way I do my blanket scarves. I put the middle of it at the front of my neck and toss the ends behind me. Then switch the ends to where they cross behind my neck – the trick is that I tuck the ends back IN to the scarf as opposed to letting them hang next to the scarf. (I’m re-reading this wondering if it makes sense.. I hope it does!)

  5. First the scarf tying does make since. Second I love the book Pinkalicious!! I was a pink lover since birth! I am so loving this whole outfit and that the pink is a soft color and perfect for adding something to a gloomy cold day!
