Colors of Cabo

COVER-UP: Echo (comes in several bright colors – $48!) | SWIMSUIT: Topshop (2-piece version here) | BAG: Star Mela (loving this one, too) | SANDALS: Sole Society c/o | BRACELETS: Pink set here, Tassel set here, hand chain here | EARRINGS: Nordstrom | MONOGRAM: Love Always (3XL, 16″ chain) | RING: Kendra Scott | SUNGLASSES: Ray-Ban
On the first day we were here, got up early and threw on swimsuits and immediately went out to the pool(s). I was happy that I’d packed this fun neon one-piece + a simple cover-up.. it ended up being the perfect combination since we were out exploring.

One thing that cracks me up about being in Mexico is having people assume I speak spanish! When I got to the airport and went through immigration they said “welcome home!” and yesterday this man kept asking us the same question and finally we said “we don’t understand?” and he immediately switched to english and looked at me and said “you don’t speak Spanish?” I was like “nooooo, not really!” And he explained he assumed we spoke spanish because of the way I looked! (I’m pretty sure my spray tan had something to do with that 🙂 ).

Hope you guys are having a great week so far.. thank you for reading! xo.

  1. First I love that you wear a one piece! I am always on the hunt for a cute one piece but most bloggers show two pieces. Second, I have the same problem as you. With dark hair and olive skin complexion people think I am anything but a regular white girl, lol. Once I had a terrible pimple between my eye brows and this Indian woman thought I was Indian and spoke to me in her language. I just smiled and said sorry I don't understand.
    Have fun!

  2. It's your hair that makes you look hispanic. We all have lots and lots of hair, thick and natural looking. 🙂
