Lazy Hair Day Braid..

So, last weekend I was spending the day with John & sometimes I just skip fixing my hair when he is getting the day off so that we can have more time together. (It’s a commitment to wash, dry, curl my hair…sooo I don’t mind skipping.) I get asked about my curls & lately I’ve been using a 1″ barrel to curl my hair and then I just sleep with my hair in a pony tail but tucked under (like you see in a lot of my IG pix) and I swear by this pillow case!! It’s like made to keep your hair smooth. Anyway, if my hair is dirty and I’m not wanting to spend time on it, I wake up and brush through the curls – which is why they look larger/looser/undone. And then I teased the top of my head and moved my part to the side and quickly did a dutch braid and then bobby pinned it back. It is pretty messy in these photos, but I tend to like my braids undone looking. 

Anyway, this outfit may be one of my favorites from all spring / summer! I got this off the shoulder top in last week and I love it – but it is short – so it would look good w/high waisted jean shorts or high waisted denim – but I really loved this skirt that I had just gotten on sale so I paired the two together. 🙂

You may have seen on Snap already, but last night John and I went to a gas station at like 11:30 and got popcorn and big drinks and rented a movie and stayed up SO late – but it was the most fun I’ve had in a while. John is working today but its technically just taking some calls so its fun to have him around. Tonight John, Fitz & I are headed to AR this afternoon to see sister & go to her in-laws for a BBQ!   8. I love your hair like this! I've been trying to master dutch and fishtail braids, but it's no use. lol What kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use? I'm desperate for a new hair routine, and your hair is GORGE! I would appreciate any info you can give me, or should I say, my hair would appreciate it. ha 😉
