One thing that I strongly believe in is picking and choosing different pieces to invest your money into… Before any season, when I am shopping I usually pick a couple of things to invest in – whether it is a nice pair of heels or a handbag! I will say that I love buying my denim from the ‘Trend’ section of Nordstrom – they are inexpensive and wear really well (and for some reason are flattering than a lot of my designer denim.) Now don’t get me wrong, I have a couple pair of AG jeans that I wear and re-wear (too) much. I love when I can find a great alternative to something that is expensive and is something I know I won’t wear too much (i.e. that Kate Spade bow dress!).
Hope this helps with your back to school shopping! Sidetone, as I was writing this John goes “make sure you mention it that you never know who you are going to meet in class!” – referring to our meeting in Bible class in college and how I would always make sure to curl my hair if I knew I was going to see him, lol! Oh boy!
