 On Wednesday afternoon we drove up to the Stowe Mountain Lodge where it was much cooler and so beautiful! I threw this sweater on (it was a little big!) and pulled my hair out of my face to walk around the area. I loved the area so much – I want to take John bc I know he’d love it in the winter! John likes to ski/snowboard/etc. so I am thinking we will have to go back!

In other news, we had a super nice & quiet weekend! We pretty much played w/Fitz and enjoyed the cooler temps, and John watched a lot of football. Oh we also went with our friends to a BBQ festival and I had my first fried Oreo and holy cow… where have those been all my life?! Last night we made a crockpot vegetable soup (neither of us like veggies…..) and well that was interesting! And we have so much left we will be eating it all week. Just using the crockpot and all made me crave the brisk, fall weather that will hopefully be here soon.
