Fall Date Night Outfit..

This was the backdrop outside of the resort we stayed in in Aspen – could it be more beautiful?! Aspen is very dog friendly – to the point that town’s 5 star hotel has a restaurant/lounge where you can bring your dog & they will serve your dog! So we actually took Fitz out with us one night. Anyway, on a different evening, we went out for sushi & then coffee and I wore this comfy sweater dress. The weather while we were there was so crazy – it would be cold & snowy, and hours later be sunny & warm! We didn’t mind it though.
 
On a different note, I was so glad I packed this dress for this trip – I love that it has a longer hemline in the back & that it is easy to accessorize. This is the type of dress you can wear a ton and always style it differently.. like pair it with booties & a bright scarf or with a cream boot sock & riding boot. PS. Here’s a similar dress to mine that is a v-neck!

    When you left Fitz in the hotel you have to leave him in a kennel or he can be in another area?
    How does Fitz handle the low temperatures?

  6. Love!!!! I like that this one looks a little thinner though in terms of the fabric. It also comes in petite, yay! That is really nice about how dog-friendly they are in Aspen too. I hope that you enjoy your day today!! 🙂

  32. I love this entire outfit! I'm pregnant yet think this is the perfect outfit to wear pregnant and not pregnant. I just ordered everything from this outfit from Nordstrom's. Ha! I never have time to shop with my 2 year old twins at home. Thanks for the inspiration!

  34. Love it all except the big handbag. Not sure I would take a bag that large on a date night…. probably a clutch would be more appropriate for the occasion. Just a thought, but otherwise it's a fabulous outfit. xo
