Holiday Attire

One of the fun things about the holiday season is getting to dress up for Christmas parties, work events, New Years, etc. I was excited to find this top on Joe Fresh – its one of those simple tops that I’ll get to wear a lot during this season because it goes with so many skirts & it dresses up simple looks. There’s just something about that black bow.. 🙂 Joe Fresh also has this skirt in black too! One last thing, I also ordered THESE glitter flats and they are seriously so cute! If you are not a heels person, these would be a festive addition to any outfit.

In other news, we got our first Christmas tree this weekend! Our first few years of marriage, John was still in medical school and we were moving a ton so we never really had a home – so this year is our first year to have one and be able to decorate our home. I had no idea how much effort goes into a Christmas tree until I started shopping for one – and then looking for all of the ornaments, holy cow! I think I am going to bribe my mom to come help, lol. I am going to attempt decorating it tonight.. :/ If you have tips — I am all ears!! 😀

We have a plastic tree (pictures on my blog) and I took it up last Sunday xD I love our tree and I know it´s super early but I just wanted it up so that we can get some christmas feeling with all the rain. Normal in Sweden people take up their tree the day before Christmas (December 24 in Sweden) but I´m going outside of the box ;D
