5 Trends to Try This Summer

I’ve been paying close attentions to the items I’m wearing that are selling out the quickest and/or are getting the most attention. I thought it may be fun to do a quick round-up of those trendy pieces that many of you are loving for this summer in case you are on the hunt for them. 🙂

1. Tassel anything… 
Especially earrings. Tassel earrings are not hard to come by this summer! You can find them for as little as $12.99 (like mine the photos^) or spend up to $700. This is not a new trend for this summer, but tassel everything is in high demand again. I’m linking TONS of tassel products in the tool below at varying price points.

2. Funky Sunglasses
No longer are the days of wearing plain ol’ Ray-Ban aviators on the regular… the ‘in’ thing in sunglasses is wearing unique ones with funky shapes, colors, textures, etc. I am typically a sucker for designer sunglasses, but this summer I’m loving the trendier ones with reflective frames & unique shapes that just so happen to be inexpensive. 3. Platforms
Platforms, flatforms, flatform wedges, etc. are super popular right now… I personally prefer a wedge because I like the look wedges give my legs! BUT, any shoe with a chunky platform will do. 🙂 (I love these!)

4. Lace-Up Dresses, Tops, & Rompers
It took me a bit to come around to this trend as I am not one to wear super low cut tops – luckily, there are lots of lace-up items that aren’t low cut out right now! I’m selective about which ones I wear, but it’s a trend I do love! I have a few lace-up items that I seriously wear over and over (like the dress in this post). 

5. Small Clutches / Crossbody Bags
This is tough for me because I am ALL about a big bag – I mean, all about them! The bigger, the better in my opinion. However, with little summer dresses and outfits, sometimes bigger bags are just too much. Luckily, there are tons of  fun clutches and crossbody bags are great price points in so many stores. (I recently just got this oversized cross body and love it!!)
