Purple Shades

I got this ‘top’ in San Fran w/Caitlin and I literally would have never guessed it would be a dress on anyone until I saw a friends snaps on the lake and she was wearing it as a dress. I sized down so that it would be fitted and not too long but I guess I could have sized up and made it a… mini dress?! Haha. Anyway, I’m almost 5’7 so if you are shorter, this will be a dress! All of my gfs that are under 5’5 told me they were it as a dress. It comes in a few colors & I liked the other colors better but I had just purchased this handbag and wanted something black to wear it with! (typical girl move, right?)
 
Anyway, I just want to say thank you for the sweet words on yesterdays post about residency + anniversary. To be honest, writing a post on residency is out of my comfort zone. I’ve learned that the internet is a tough place – people can be so critical & cruel and I just didn’t know how that would go over – I would never want to come across as a complainer, but I also don’t want to pretend like this whole residency thing is easy and mislead anyone. Okay, enough about that – hope you all have a fun weekend!! <3 I’m doing something kind of fun at the end of the weekend and I can’t wait to share.

  5. This is most certainly a top in my book- how could someone bend over or have a slight breeze blow their way, much less sit down and not show the world the stuff they own :/ ( even if someone is 5'5 !)
    Anyway, I really love your style and your inspiring looks !!! It's so carefree looking and classy but modern at the same time .
