Over-The-Knee Boots at Lake Moraine

Okay, I promise this is the last of our Canada trip. These actually aren’t my favorite photos but I LOVED Moraine Lake! It was about a 10 minute drive from our place at Lake Louise. The water there is even more blue which is kind of crazy. The color of the water is due to the refraction of light off of the rock flour deposited in the lake… lol ok- I totally stole that from Wikipedia. 😛 Anyway, I didn’t realize this but this is a world famous lake – I read online that Google & Android have both used photos of the lake for their screensaver options on their phones. 
 
Another reason I had to share these photos is because of these OTK boots – they are a great dupe for the ($700) Stuart Weitzman boot. I have a pair of Stuart W. boots w/a heel and I have to say these are VERY comparable. The quality is great and they stay nice & tight around your knee which is what matters most to me! They are available in a few shades, too! (Mine are the ‘tan’.)
 
John’s got today off, praise the Lord! He’s on another bad rotation so I’m soaking up the time I get with him today. Only 10 months of residency left.. but who’s counting?!
