SUMMER SNACK HACK ☀️🍪🍿🍫: Walmart Pickup & Delivery
We are in full summer mode over here and our days have been filled with work, swim lessons, playing outside, and trying to stay cool! It is almost 100 degrees here 😅 The heat makes it really hard to want to get out to run errands, especially having to get the kids in and out of the car, which is why I am so thankful for Walmart Grocery Pickup & Delivery – it is a life saver!! I was able to get on the app and in a matter of minutes have everything ordered and then swing by and pick it up. I believe you have to spend $35 minimum – for pick up & delivery but I get our groceries there and other household products so I don’t usually have any issues with the minimum. When my parents are in town [well mostly Bobo] , I always try to keep the pantry stocked with some snack food. He loves all of the GOOD snacks, like Lay’s Potato Chips and Chips Ahoy Cookies– I mean who doesn’t love those?! ALSO- my friend Audrey [from college] just told me that she helped collaborate with General Mills to make this oatmeal from some of our favorite childhood cereals – how cool is that?! I immediately added it to my order, because obviously they are so good and the oatmeal is a way to enjoy it in a low calorie, healthier option! 😍 Our local store had Cinnamon Toast Crunch Oatmeal & Cocoa Puffs Oatmeal but they also have Trix and Lucky Charms! [Our store was out of Lucky Charms but new time I am going to try those. My dad has eaten most of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch over the weekend though!😜
Also had to include these ingredients Hershey’s Kisses & Peanut Butter Cookie Dough for my secret recipe cookie – IYKYK lol. They are perfect for when you need a little something sweet.
Anyway, I also tried to add a few healthier items to balance it all out. If you’ve been following along on my IG stories I am trying to find healthier recipes, and am trying to eat more vegetables! I shared another IG account that I found and her recipes are amazing. One of her staple items is a spicy vegan mayo so I ordered the ingredients so we can try it! Its a mix of Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce and Veganaise. Follow along on my IG Stories [@emilyanngemma] for updates!
