OUR CHRISTMAS POOL DECORATIONS AND MORE! – ALL AFFORDABLE!
We moved into our home in April of 2018 and didn’t get our backyard fully finished until during quarantine time & we were kind of forced to finish it since we were home and spending so much time outside. Our pool was in when we moved into the house but it took a few months to get our pool house area finished. We finally got around to installing speakers, buying furniture, etc. when COVID hit and it was well worth it! Even in March, the kids and I would heat up the pool and swim after work each day! I actually have never been big on decorating for the holidays outside – but we’ve become so prone to being out there that I just went for it this year and got the best Christmas pool decorations and more!! We installed heaters in the pool house and then we have the fireplace so its a pretty cozy little area! Not seen is the basketball court in the back – that is where most of my family spends time! They play basketball like day and night — that includes John, too!
When I decided to go full force and decorate our outside area I actually just ran to our local Walmart[s] and grabbed things. I knew we would be getting rain / snow / storms so I didn’t want to splurge one much and Walmart had some cool & affordable pieces! We ran out to our local Walmart to get some fun things to decorate the backyard and patio area so that we’re ready when family comes over to celebrate.Sophie and Luke loved the inflatable Turkey we had in our front yard, so we had to get some inflatable ornaments and this super cute inflatable swan. They had so many cute inflatables there though it was hard to decide [I’ll link some of my favorites below] on which ones to get! These buffalo check pillows and these knit pillows, along with the throw blanket are so nice and cozy to wrap up in. [Side note: the pillow and the cover are sold separately]. The tin bucket [purchased in-store but THESE are so fun] is a way to display firewood and still make it look cute! Lol- John will probably make fun of me for saying that. Anyway, we have probably made 10 ten trips to Walmart in the past week, because they have everything you could need to decorate your home for the holidays! I’ll list some other things we picked up, too!
Do you have your decor up yet? If so, let me know in the comments!

They’ve got the cutest stuff right now!
A few of my outside laser lights are on and tomorrow I will finish the front yard. I have not finished the inside because I got busy ordering gifts for Christmas.
Awwww! I bet it will be beautiful!
I’ve decorated very little this year because we are gearing up to move out of state and I don’t want to pull stuff down. Too much work, ugh 🤦🏻♀️
I don’t blame you one bit!
Love all your ideas… and your kids are super cute. Merry Christmas 🎄
Could you tell me where you got the inflatable Xmas ornaments in the pool?? Thanks. Many blessings.
