AFFORDABLE DRUGSTORE MAKEUP & DUPES FOR MY LIP COMBO
I am constantly getting questions about drugstore makeup and affordable skincare, so I had to share some of my favorite products from Walmart! I am seriously so impressed with the variety and brands that they offer in-store and online. One of my favorite activities is going to Walmart and looking at all of the makeup and trying new things! As the season changes from summer to fall, and the weather gets colder, I look for products that help to protect my skin and moisturize and they have to have good quality ingredients.
*Below are some of my favorite makeup products that you can find at your local Walmart! My lip combo is one of the most common questions I received on IG and on the blog! This liner, lipstick, and gloss are so pretty together and perfect to wear with fall colors!
MAKEUP FAVORITES:
e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer [A holy grail makeup favorite – I use this every single time I do my makeup!]
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Ultra Matte Highly Pigmented Nude Lipstick in shade ‘Ultra Nude’
NYX Professional Makeup Epic Ink Eyeliner [LOVE this stuff – easily one of the best liquid eyeliners out there!]
SKINCARE FAVORITES:
Bliss Clear Genius™ Salicylic Acid Clarifying Toner + Serum [This is a toner & serum combo and I can not recommend this enough if you are new to the world of skincare and want to get a taste for it. My AM and PM routine is something along the lines of this; cleanse > tone > Vit C > HA [serum] > Moisturizer > SPF > Oil. This combo is really good for a beginner because its drug store pricing and the products have the good ingredients. I love that this comes with the little pads too – its easy to use and it works to cleanse skin, clean out pores, and it won’t aggravate or dry out your skin. Also, this contains Niacinamide which is a hot ingredient right now – it is used to lighten & brighten dark spots!]
Bliss Clear Genius™ 10% AHA + BHA + PHA Blend, Clarifying Liquid Peel [Super, super good if you are wanting good skincare on a budget as it is under $20 and has all of the necessary acids. The AHA, BHA, & PHA blend is something I recommend using 3-5x a week if you are wanting to keep acne at bay, keep your skin smooth / clean, & keep it exfoliated. The acids are your ‘chemical exfoliation’ and will be game changers if you are wanting to step into the world of skincare. A lot of women don’t use acids since the word ‘acid’ alone is a little scary and intimidating. However, these should not scare you. Building up a tolerance and using them in your daily and nightly routines will help not only with acne but also with aging. Women sometimes believe that just washing your face at night is enough and it really is not! So, if you are new to skincare and you want to shop on a dime- give this a try!
cleen beauty Vitamin C Papaya Glow Serum [This serum is another great skincare find as it has Vitamin C along with ferulic and papaya enzyme. The papaya is something that caught my eye on this initially because I really, really love Papaya enzyme because it exfoliates the skin in a totally different way than we are used to – which was news to me until I tried it a few months ago. The Vitamin C is not the exact combo you want for typical Vitamin C purposes but incorporating this into your skincare is a great start since its less than $10 and will help exfoliate and brighten your skin!
Earth to Skin Honey Manuka Starter Set [Really good set if you are doing any travel or live in a cold or dry climate! The price point is amazing, too!]
Derma E Hydrating Night Face Cream, Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer
Earth to Skin Honey Manuka Calming Day Gel Cream
EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum Moisturizing Facial Sunscreen, SPF 46 [Now, the price point is not “drugstore” but it is available at Walmart and it is hands down one of the best SPFs available.]
Thanks to Walmart for sponsoring today’s post.

My routine right now isn’t working, but it used too. I think it’s from wearing my mask all day teaching- when that wasn’t the case last year. My forehead and chin break out and sometimes around my nose so I’m looking for something for those areas. THANK YOU 💖💖
Thanks, Sara!
