12 Drugstore Travel Essentials

DRUGSTORE TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

This week I flew to NYC for a couple of nights and thought I’d share some of the drugstore essentials / must haves that I always use when I travel. Some of these actually go in my large tote bag that I travel with because I like having them with me! Like, I keep the Neutrogena Travel Makeup Remover Wipes in my makeup bag & my handbag as well as the Teleties Hair Ties. The hair ties don’t leave a crease and I usually work on the plane so I like to pull my hair back. I also love that they are clear!😊 One of the best finds is actually the Secret Freshies on the Go Deodorant which is a little egg shaped deodorant that’s compact and small and fits into your handbag. I actually had not seen these until my assistant showed it to me – I thought it was a little chapstick thing! I think these products^ are the ones that work best in my handbag/carry-on that I take on the plane.

A few other things I like to have when I travel that I don’t keep in my handbag/carry-on are my Glow Habit Good Skin / Probiotic gummy vitamins. I’ve been taking these for around 4-5 months now and I absolutely SWEAR by them. I’ve shared before but I had no idea that they were available at Walmart – I got them in a PR package and immediately started taking them. Eventually I ran out and saw a difference without them so I googled them and realized they were available at Walmart so that is where I’ve been buying them. I used to use a higher end version of these that are 3x the price but I find that I like these much better. I also carry Listerine Pocketmist Oral Spray & the Equate brand Sugar Free breath strips – I use these all of the time. [PS. I always keep one of these in my handbag – they are tiny and don’t take up any space!] I drink a lot of coffee and don’t want to have to chew gum too much. Sidenote, the mouthwash I swear by is from Walmart too and is their equate brand. Unfortunately it does not come in a travel sized bottle so I pack the other things!

As far as makeup goes, I still SWEAR by the Elf Poreless Putty – it goes everywhere with me!! It is SO good. I did a series of best of drugstore beauty posts in the fall and wrote about it a few times. I also like the Olay Energizing Facial Mist – its good for over makeup or under makeup. It has Vitamin C in it which is amazing for your skin and helps to hydrate. The product itself is “energizing” and very refreshing. I always need a boost of hydration so I really like this product for that. I travel with all travel sized hair products most of the time – I get them at Walmart as well! Like Batiste Dry Shampoo, Oribe Shine Spray, & the Tigi Bedhead Shine Hairspray – its a long time favorite of mine. I just recently started trying the Waterless Dry Conditionerand so far I’m pretty impressed. I really like the smell of it too!
