I’m just now getting around to posting some outfits from our Bahamas trip that we took in early July! We had SO much fun and Sophia did so well! Luke had a blast too- he had been in his ISR swim lessons for 3 weeks and was already doing amazingly so he loved the pool! He actually ‘graduates’ his ISR this week so tomorrow we are going and he has to wear winter clothes and a regular diaper and swim / float! I’ll actually be in the pool with him for this one.
When I was packing for the Bahamas I had to search high and low for flattering swimsuits for post partum. It was bad timing because so much was sold out since it was the end of June when I started shopping. Thank GOODNESS for high waisted suits being so popular + coverups + cute accessories. Where we stayed it seemed like everyone was very fashionable at the pool – it was so fun to ‘people watch’ and see what people wore! One girl had on the CUTEST cover-up ever but I looked it up and it was like $400! And several girls had on my Chanel pool slides. John noticed it because when I got them he was like “nooooo those are bad!” but I always get so many compliments and he admitted they have been good for the summer. ANYWAY, I ordered a few Victoria Emerson wrap bracelets before the trip and I got a couple with turquoise stones which I love during the summer on tan skin at the beach, ya know!? But I ended up just wearing this pearl one the most. Pearls are super on trend right now – you see them on headbands, hair clips, rings, necklaces, etc. They have a few different colors with pearls! I also love Victoria Emerson double wrap bracelets – like THIS leopard print one. ALSO – I noticed the other night while watching the Bachelorette that Hannah had one like THIS one on so I felt kind of cool! I love watching to see what Hannah wears each week because she’s got a stylist!
Thanks to Victoria Emerson for sponsoring todays post.
