Okay, so I had to pop in and share these products ASAP because I’m obsessed – esp for summer time!

So, you guys know I am constantly trying out new skincare, makeup, and hair products – it is one of my FAVORITE parts of my job! I got the Volition Beauty Turmeric Brightening Polish in… maybe my Fab, Fit, Fun box a few months back and was super intrigued simply based on the mention of  ‘Turmeric’. It’s a face AND body exfoliating scrub and it is said to brighten your skin by exfoliation… and the turmeric brights AND fights against aging. Anyway, I ended up using it off and on while pregnant to smooth out my skin and try to get rid of dullness + it has a couple of special oils that help with hydration which was vital during winter + pregnancy. ANYWAY, fast forward a few months and I got a package with THIS trio that has the Turmeric Brightening Polish, Apple Cider Vinegar Resurfacing Pads, & their new Strawberry-C Serum. I started using ASAP because ever since having Sophia my skin feels… dry and dull. I have bad melasma and I feel like nursing has just dehydrated me all over! First of all, its CLEAN and it is cruelty free. Many of you have asked if I could share more clean products so I was super excited to see the clean / cruelty free stamp! I also need clean products since I am nursing and I am extra careful what I put on my skin and take in since I don’t want it to hurt Sophie in any way!

Okay – I could go on forever but I’m sure you guys just want the bottom line so..

The polish is AMAZING if you want a very, very exfoliating scrub. This is not super gentle – this stuff literally leaves your skin looking smoothed after the first use. It is very gritty so be ready for that – but I promise there’s a pay-off/reward to it! I don’t mind enduring the scrub since I know my skin will look better right after! I also use this in certain places on my arms where I’ve had some weird breakouts from pregnancy. My skin instantly looks brighter and cleaner just w/one use. NOW – I just do it ONCE per week though!

I have been using the ACV pads at night 2x a week for now. They are like little gloves for your fingers and they have Apple Cider Vinegar and some AHAs which combined work as a toner, exfoliate, and moisturizer! I am pretty good about always using AHAs but I had never tried the ACV combo.

Now, the last product in the trio is the Strawberry-C Serum – which has hyaluronic acid in it – ding ding ding! I love love love HA – my skin requires it honestly! I don’t go a day without applying HA! It also has Vitamin C derived from a strawberry [*has more C than an orange!] – which is so cool! I swear by Vitamin C anyway because it helps brighten your skin and overtime fades dark spots. It helps with skin tone overall – I noticed my skin looking smooth and more of the same color, lol. I have had severe melasma the last few months so I know something works when I see it start fading in just a few uses!

Right now, I’m home quite a bit with a newborn and I don’t have much time to get ready anymore. I loooveeee makeup but I really want to soak in the extra time with Luke at 2 and a newborn so I kind of re-prioritize it all and I have days where I stay in sweats and hang with my family and just work during naps! On those days I’m extra grateful for these products because I feel much more comfortable without makeup knowing that my skins improving!
