The Closet Staple You May Be Missing This Spring

First of all, this DRESS! ?? It’s one of those *closet staple* pieces that you will wear & re-wear over and over AND OVER! No joke, I initially purchased this in black when I was pregnant with Luke – prior to the third trimester [aka before the huge bump!]. I remember wearing it SO much at the end of that pregnancy. And ironically, after he was a year old – I found myself wearing it again when I would go out on walks with him. It’s one of those end-all-be-all types of dresses. It works pregnant & not-pregnant & also works super casual or dressed up a bit. I bought it in a medium while pregnant and I continued wearing the size medium even after I had lost a majority of my baby weight. This pregnancy, I saw them go on sale on Nordstrom’s site [they never do when they are in season] so I grabbed a couple more because they are so easy to throw on & go! The day we shot these photos we were actually in Dallas shopping so I wore it out & about with wedges but then I wore it on our 4 hour drive home w/my favorite Tory Burch flip flops [in ‘Sand Patent’].  [PS. THESE in the ‘Almond Patent’ are a great Tory Burch Miller dupe!]

Speaking of wedges & sandals, I was browsing Nordstrom’s website last week and found SO many cute pairs of shoes! I have a quick trip this week so I plan on placing an order today for them actually. I’ll give you all a heads up though.. SO.. I adore THESE sandals in black w/the pearls across the straps, THESE leopard print strappy slides, THESE pointy toed pumps in ‘Pink Orchid’ for Easter, and THESE cute bow sandals – I have a similar suede style but love this nude, leather.

I know this is a rare Sunday post but I missed posting on Friday – I got really sick and didn’t sleep and honestly could barely move for about 18 hours! It was scary. I appreciate all of your reaching out and checking in on Baby Girl & me! ? We are A-OK now!
