No kidding, I wore this outfit 3x last week! There’s something about all black & I love the chic look of leather [or faux leather] in the winter. It has a an edgy vibe – but also dressy. I like throwing on a cozy sweater and boots to make the look complete [yet comfy enough to ‘mom’ in!]. Nordstrom has been killing it in the sweater & faux leather legging department, by the way. I got this turtleneck in grey from Nordstrom a couple of months ago and knew immediately I would need it in black. I do wear the black more often than the the gray – just FYI. The black seems to go with so much more and is hassle free!
On all of our travels this fall Nordstrom has been my go-to retailer for finding cozy, oversized sweaters! And they have a good variety of leggings as well – I like the Spanx faux leather for more casual use and day-to-day use, but the thicker, more leather looking leggings are a bit dressier, just not as comfortable as the Spanx!
I’m adding some of my favorite leggings to the widget below as well as other snakeskin boot/bootie options – the snakeskin print is my FAVORITE trend right now!

Black is my fave and go to, always! I also love wearing neutrals.
But honestly, you can never go wrong with an oversize sweater or tunic, leggings and OTK boots.
