Hellllooo and happy Monday– and HAPPY OCTOBER! My birthday is this week and for some reason – probably that reason – October is my favorite month. I always try to challenge myself to get out and enjoy the weather because October weather is always my favorite.

The weather in Aspen has been SO on point, I think we came at just the right time. The leaves are turning bright yellow by the day and it couldn’t be more gorgeous. The weather has been nice – very chilly in the mornings and evenings [like 40s] and then by 1pm it is 70!

I wore this on our first day here because I’ve been itching to share all the details on this blazer. The Balmain blazer [$2100] has always been on my ‘dream item list’ and I’ve actually shared dupes here on my blog a few times before – because I just can’t swallow that price tag. This summer I found these blazers [under $100!!] online and tried to order a few times but they were always sold out. Luckily, they’ve been in stock more so the last couple of weeks. They are not as stiff and structured as the Balmain blazers though, instead they are way softer and in my opinion, more comfortable. Now that I have the navy one I do plan to possibly buy a second color.

Luke has been loving every moment here in Aspen. There are several parks so in the morning while I work John takes him to one and then in the afternoon we all go play and he is just loving it! He’s at the age where he is ALWAYS on the go and we are alway chasing him! It’s crazy because he was always super laid back and easy going and now that he can walk and communicate better – he is the real boss!
