On The Go, Easy But Chic Outfit For A Busy Mom

When we are not traveling, we are home and I am usually attempting quite the balancing act! I am working on e-mails, contracts, planning for future posts & travel, on calls, etc., all while caring for a 9mo old & trying to keep our house in order! It is kind of crazy some days and overall.. I am just so grateful for my mom! Ha!! She literally saves me – she comes a couple of weekends a month and helps me tremendously. But when she isn’t here, I find myself getting dressed rather quickly and throwing together outfits that are practical for being being a mom + wife + blogger.

A flattering pair of high waisted pair of jeans that hide my c-section pouch :/ , good quality yet simple tops (I love bodysuits bc there’s not fussing over keeping things tucked in!), comfortable flats that are easy to slip into and out of (why I like mules!), & HATS! You probably have noticed by now hats are my jam. All of these things are what I lean towards wearing on a daily basis when I am just taking care of business for work/family needs. I love that jewelry / hats / belts are what help create these looks into different outfits. I wear a belt almost daily – I have 3 of the Gucci ones & then a reversible LV one and I loooovee them. They act as a simple accessory that really gives a plain outfit a boost. 🙂

Anyway! I love fashion and wearing fun, funky looks but let’s be real – they are not my daily thing! I just thought I’d share my current easy, casual, but chic mom-on-the-go look! 🙂

  7. hi! I am a long time reader. i love reading your posts and whenever i need to find out whats “In” you are my number 1 go too!!! When john did your question and answer post, he commented that you are always “put together” and how you have helped him with that also.
    That is the one thing i have said to myself time and time again how does she she look so good all the time? I don’t know how you do it. and i know others would love a post on how you do it.
