Okay, first things first – my shoes! If you saw my Insta-story last week, you probably already know but, yes, my shoe is totally broken! Elle, John, Luke & I went to Dallas for a couple of nights and I packed these nude heels to wear with this blazer. I have always loved these heels but I do not wear them a ton as they are more on the dressy side. As I was buckling them the morning I wore this outfit, the strap literally just tore in half. Luckily, you can tell I have not worn them much & the shoe department at Nordstrom was able to look them up so they offered to order a new pair. They didn’t have this exact pair in store so I wore them to take photos since I loved them paired with this blazer. 🙂 Just a heads up, I’ve never seen a Valentino shoe tear up like this!
But the main reason I posted this outfit is because I don’t think I’ve had any clothing item be so popular on my Instagram and Insta-stories until I wore this blazer! I noticed that it was sold out after I posted on Instagram but I saw that it was restocked so I thought I’d share these photos – despite the silly shoe. It’s a top / pseudo blazer in a way! I didn’t wear anything underneath it if that makes sense. It is a little cropped so I paired it with higher waisted denim so that my stomach did not show! This would be great for a first day look if you are going to a nicer restaurant, btw.
