This weekend John, Fitz, & I went out to Missouri with our friends (& their pup) to spend the weekend at one of the Tall Pines cabins from Amazing Branson Rentals. The cabins are about 20 minutes away from Branson and they are kind of secluded so it is nice and quiet and very relaxing. Our Cabin (the Refuge) had 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and what John called a man cave w/a big TV, pool & ping pong table. It was a perfect cabin for us – we drove ab an hour to Springfield on Saturday to eat at Lamberts Cafe which is a favorite of mine. (They throw warm delicious rolls while you are eating!)
As of last week, I am starting to notice that my stomach is getting larger by the second it feels like… It is kind of intimidating!!! Just last week, I started noticing that clothes just are not fitting well at all and I constantly say “ugh I have nothing to wear!” & John gets on to me! So far, I am wearing my normal size in everything – except jeans (I wear maternity) but I just don’t know how long I can get away with it. I’ve found that cardigans are a life savor, that is for sure!! (I snagged this one for $19!) And yes I am still living in these amazing Zella leggings.
I’m actually writing from Dallas – we drove home from Branson yesterday and then I had to load up and head to Dallas to pick up a few things and head back to Tulsa bc its John’s birthday!!! We have fun dinner plans tonight. I’m typically not super mushy {online} about John but I could cry when I think about how fortunate I am to have him. The poor guy works long hours as a resident physician and then comes home to help me with my blog and around the house, etc (if you didn’t know he does all the photos for my blog!). He is so selfless and precious and I’m so lucky to get to be married to him! Happy birthday, Johnny!!!
