Spring fashion & spring shopping is already in full swing even though we are not quite there yet. I notice every spring that the best *staple* items sell out before May so I wanted to share the best high waisted denim shorts that typically are sold out by summer time. I have 3 pair that I think are worth the money and that I tend to wear all summer – a couple of them are old too bc they are just that good!
The ones I have on here are Levi’s and come in several washes. [I always size up in all shorts but I usually go up an extra size in these for my hips – they are big in the waist but work better on my hips.] I love THIS wash as well. The other style I love are THESE and they come in this wash & this wash. [For this style I size up to a 27.] Lastly THIS brand makes amazing high waisted shorts too – THIS wash is what I wear the most! I do size up in these too – a 27. All 3 of these styles of shorts are higher waisted so they look cute w/tops and over swimsuits which I really like! They are all a stronger & thicker denim so they kinda suck you in and are flattering. I have never been a big “shorts” wearer bc I’m not proportional at all & my hips / backside are bigger but these all work really well for me and the last 2 springs these were all sold out super quickly.

Yes! And I’m so thankful that high waist is the style now! I have had two C-sections and I don’t think I could ever again wear the low cut early 2000’s style again! I love the support of the higher waist. Thank you for the recommendations!
