LAYERING GOLD NECKLACES & JEWELRY
I have been wearing necklaces layered like this for a few years now and the one big change that I’ve noticed and really loved is that the chain links shape & sizing. I’ll give you some info on how I mix & match below!

TIPS FOR MIXING & MATCHING & LAYERING YOUR FAVORITE GOLD NECKLACES
#1 There are not many rules to this – but mixing different shapes, sizes, and metals is what really gives the look a unique flare. For example, the necklaces I am wearing above did not come together. In fact, the one at the top came with another chain but I took it off and added the longer chain links and the pendant one in the middle!
#2 I also love mixing in dainty pieces with chunkier chain link pieces! This LOVE necklace you’ve seen me wear a lot is also on sale and looks amazing paired with chunkier chain pieces!
#3 If you are someone who likes higher end jewelry, don’t be afraid to mix in costume jewelry! For example, in the photo below, I’m wearing my 2 Cartier Love bracelets but I’m pairing them with this beautiful, chunky chain link bracelet! I’m OBSESSED with the chain link bracelet! Most of my bracelets are Cartier but I’ll add a few to the widget below that are Cartier dupes!
#4 If you have a plain or basic outfit on and want to glam it up a bit, adding a few necklaces & a chunky pair of hoops is an easy way to elevate the look in seconds! I do this a lot with my oversized tees! [See post on how to wear Oversized Band Tees HERE]
#5 If you wear a lot of necklaces at once, it is important not to overwhelm the look with big, flashy earrings! I always wear hoops or a stud earring when I’m wearing a lot of necklaces. This works vice versa, too! If I wear a pair of large, statement earrings, I keep the necklace simple or skip the necklace! [I’m wearing THESE hoops in all of these photos!
