Okay, if you are new here – welcome to the blog of a girl who LOVES lip gloss & just all lip products in general. Okay, wait, I actually just love all makeup, lol!🙈 Today I thought I’d share a little review on a plumping gloss because I get questions regarding this so often. I don’t wear a plumping gloss daily – I switch it up quite a bit really & truly. However, something I’m constantly asked is “what plumping gloss do you recommend?” and over the last year or so I always say the Too Faced Lip Injection gloss. It does sting a bit, but it definitely does plump up your lips and give a fuller effect. I actually purchased one last spring and my mom noticed how well it worked and took it off my hands! 😊 So I re-purchased it again and just recently started using the ‘Extreme’ version of the gloss. It comes in a few shades & I find that all are super wearable & amazing. Typically, I go for a light pink or clear plumping gloss but each of these works well with my liner & lipstick combinations. The ‘Extreme’ formula is a bit different & more intense. I find that both formulas definitely plump up the lips but the extreme one is a bit more smoothing. It’s got extra ingredients that work to hydrate lips – like jojoba oil & avocado oil. Both formulas have Vitamin E as well.

Of all of the colors, I really don’t have a. preference. They look good on their own — like the color is not super drastic but gives a glossy, tinted look. I have worn the PINK PUNCH shade & the TANGERINE DREAM over my regular nude liner & lipstick. When I was in Arizona I brought a few of the shades and one of the girls at Hair By Chrissy’s was like “omg that is the best gloss ever!” and she realized it was the extreme one and borrowed it and ended up just keeping it. She told me she does not wear a lot of makeup but she really loves this gloss because it gives a full, but natural look without any lipstick underneath.

Anyway, if you are on the hunt for a new plumping gloss – definitely try the Lip Injection Extreme formula out. Like I said, it will kind of tingle for a few minutes after application but it will go away and wear beautifully. It is not sticky at all and just leaves your lips fuller, smoother, & definitely plumper!
