Hello from Park City, UT!!

We flew in on Tuesday for John’s birthday [yesterday] and we are here sans Luke. I am missing him SOO much! I FaceTime him several times a day! I actually stopped editing this post to call him and he was at home with my dad – and my dad was serving him freshly cut fruit in bed! I was like ‘ok don’t spoil him!!!’. I think it is too late! Anyway, John grew up snowboarding and has not gone since his first year of medical school [2011]. Throughout the rest of medical school we were married and really didn’t have the time off or funds to travel and then once John started residency we really just traveled only for my work. All of our trips are work based and this year we made it a point to make sure he gets a snowboarding trip in.. so my mom offered to keep Luke. I have a lot of work to do + things to order for the new house so I’ve been using my time inside to catch up on work things. Yesterday John came in at 1pm [he left at 9am] and was like “umm, okay, I’m exhausted! Let’s do some photos!”… SO here we are! I had just purchased this orange, cozy cable knit sweater so I was excited to wear it. It’s the most gorgeous color and is so vibrant! I also wore my leopard booties – I got these probably 3 years ago?!?! And I literally wear them every fall and winter! I don’t think the brand logo is even showing anymore. Luckily I found some similar styles – and linked them above!

John is currently out snowboarding again today! It is so cute seeing him so excited – he sends me a ton of videos when he is out and it cracks me up! I love seeing him so happy and excited. ??? BUT, I am kind of ready to head home and see Luke Bear!
