My goal for this post was to put together a full Express outfit focused on winter weather!❄️☃️ Express is running a 40% off deal right now and I was determined to find a full look so that I could share & you all would have winter weather staple ideas OR a gift idea. You guys know I’m obsessed w/my long, black puffer jacket from Express and I had so many of you telling me you got it as a Christmas gift for a friend SO I wanted to find some more key pieces. [PS. This recent post is post is full of Express items!]

There’s a back story to this red puffer, cropped jacket. SO, I have had my eye on it for like 2+ months – basically since it was brand new in the store. Each time I went to try it on and purchase John would be like “that won’t be flattering!” and I’d back out. Well, I randomly just bit the bullet and purchased it last week and he was like “wait really?!?!” and I was like yes, I’m obsessed and the red is so festive [granted I started off wanting the black!]. Well, I wore it 2x over the weekend and the second time he was like “okay, I can’t lie – I love that jacket on you!” to which I answer w/a “booyahhhhh!!” and he rolled his eyes. ?

Okay, so the booties I am wearing – I got these for like $42?!?! They happened to be 40% off so I snagged them. I mean, you can’t beat the price point. I really wanted some snow boots that were stylish so I didn’t think twice about purchasing these. I went and grabbed lunch with John and Luke and ran a few errands and I had women stopping me over and over asking where my boots were from – I was like “umm $42 at Express right now!”.

This morning I am working on cleaning my room, packing up, and I have a flight to catch! I am going solo on this trip – my mom just got into town to stay w/Luke during the day since John is at work. It’s a quick trip so I won’t be gone too long but I am kind of excited to get away – I get so much more work done when I am alone so that is the upside. I am already missing Luke and I haven’t even left yet!??‍♀️
