BABY GEMMA #2 GENDER REVEAL
Well! I have been meaning to do a little *New House* [see post about building a new house HERE] update and I honestly have been crazy busy working on the new house/work/Luke that I have not had the chance to do a full construction update. BUT, I did have the chance to swing by the house to let Luke have a little fun in the new NURSERY! [Ahh!!!]

[PS. Don’t mind our outfits.. we did this spur of the moment and I grabbed clothes I didn’t mind ruining w/paint!?? But I did find this little apron for $5 at Hobby Lobby for Luke to wear!]
??ITS A GIRL!??
Talk about PURE SHOCK. I mean, I was speechless when I found out. For some reason, I thought for sure it was a boy – mainly because this pregnancy has been exactly like Luke Bear’s but.. nope! I still have a hard time believing it and honestly, I’ve thought about calling my doctor to confirm it a couple of times.☺️ [He knows how I am? he is super cool- you will see him over on my IG stories video today!]
I was in such shock that I couldn’t speak and I was shaking for a good minute afterwards. I just didn’t expect for it to be a girl but we definitely wanted to have a girl at some point. John totally was Team Girl and I didn’t mind either way. I immediately FaceTimed my dad to let him know- but I was shaking and crying and he got SO worried that something bad had happened. He was like “Emmy, calm down – what has happened?” and I’m like “ITS A GIRL!” and he smiled so big. He’s old school so of course he was like “ahh, that stuff can always be wrong, we will see later!”. [Keep in mind we do genetic testing + ultrasound so it should be correct!☺️]
We are just so excited overall. My girlfriend, Britney, brings her baby girl over to the house and Luke always treats her so well and gives her a paci if she cries and touches her bows so I think Luke will be really good to this babe. Also, I have an older brother & sister and we are close knit and we all love each other so much. My brother is one of my biggest fans of all [I could cry talking about it] and I hope Luke is like that to Baby Girl Gemma!?
Oh but those last couple of pix of Luke..??? How hysterical!? We had to wake him up from a nap to take these and he was not thrilled. He got excited about making the mess for about 2 minutes and then his fun was over and he was ready to nap again!
