One afternoon in Aspen we decided to go on a drive – we wanted to go to Maroon Bells which is something we do every fall but they have changed it to where you have to go on a bus – you can’t drive yourself. So this year we decided to go driving around Snowmass/Snowmass Village instead and it was SUCH a good decision! The views were incredible and the colors were just heavenly! There were a beautiful cabin at the top of the hill with gorgeous Aspens and yellow leaves everywhere – like a movie scene! Fall scenery is my love language so I didn’t want to live this area – it was flat out gorgeous!
Also, this pullover is a must-have for fall – the teddy bear trend is still going trend these pullovers are just so so comfortable! They are super soft and cozy. I did find that the sizing is not exactly ‘true’. I actuated would have preferred a large in this – I felt like the medium was not as loose or comfortable as I would have liked it! So I’d say it runs small but if you want it super comfy and longer, go up two sizes.
Hope you all had a good week!! Today is actually my birthday so I am wrapping this up and meeting a girlfriend for lunch. And then tonight…. well I am doing something SUPER fun and special… going to Olive Garden. 🙂 Ha! They sent us a little thing in the mail in a PR package and I’ve been hiding on to it to use for my birthday! I joke with John that I am just “so low maintenance!”. 😉 When we were first dating and married and going through the medical school lifestyle [read: living on love], Olive Garden was our place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, passing big tests, etc. It’s so funny because I have changed a bit – it is still the one place I want to go each year. In fact, most years for my birthday my family meets up in a central location that has an OG. We are not able to do that this weekend but John did surprise me with tickets to a concert so my dad is coming to watch Luke since John is working and my mom and sis and I are all going to go to Texas for the Taylor Swift concert. I’m pretty thrilled – I have not been to a concern in like……. a decade?!?!? I saw Taylor in college – she came to our small, Christian college when I was a freshman and performed and I got to meet her and get a photo with her after! I’m trying to find the picture actually bc its a good throwback!
PS. I think I’m going to do a little birthday post this weekend if I get time – I was thinking just a simple 31 facts for my 31st bday?! Would that be interesting?!
My daughter is having a boy, i can’t wait! xoxo
