SALT LAKE CITY / PARK CITY IN REVIEW

Hello!!! I had a lot of people ask that I do a post sharing our trip to Utah the other day. This was our 4th trip going and every time we go we remember why we love visiting so much! We do not have views like that in Oklahoma!! The mountains are so insane and gorgeous! We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City and got the 2 story suite so that we had a kitchen and plenty of room for all of Luke’s things and a separate place for him to sleep.

This was our first year taking Luke so it was a little different. Now that Luke is super mobile we don’t eat out as much so we did room service one night. John’s favorite tacos EVER are from Cafe Rio – the sweet barbacoa – and apparently its normal that guys love them, lol! So we ate there in Park City but there are plenty in SLC too. My favorite restaurant in SLC is called Cubby’s – they have the best steak salad and buffalo/ranch fries. I am very picky and don’t get out of my comfort zone also so I love find a good restaurant that has an amazing salad! 🙂 In PC we met our friends for dinner at an Italian restaurant called Vinto. Our friends live in SLC and they have 3 kids so there were 4 adults and 4 kids but it was not a problem. The restaurant was super kind and friendly and quick. We also love eating at Kneaders for breakfast while in PC – their French toast is amazing, the bread is chunky and its covered in cinnamon – and it’s All-You-Can-Eat if you dine in.. 🙂 John loved that.

In the past we have driven to the Montage for meals and just for more activities – it is SOOO gorgeous there and the food is also super good. The Montage Deer Valley is just flat out beautiful and definitely a place to check out. We love seeing it all lit up at Christmas time.

Before we left SLC, we had lunch at a restaurant called Even Stevens that my girlfriend recommended. Not only was the food good and the atmosphere so cool – but the restaurant gives back to charities. I believe I read that for every one sandwich purchased they donate a sandwich. John loved their Pot Roast dip and Luke and I loved their Mac & cheese. ? ?
