Affordable Beauty Products That I Love..

Back in early March (I think!) I did a beauty post dedicated to ‘affordable’ items rather than high end/luxury beauty products. I’ve received so much positive feedback from the post so I thought I’d share a few more affordable beauty products that I really love. I have such a tough time doing these posts because I’ve found a ton of products that I think are really great – especially for their price points! However, today I thought I’d share a few NYX products that I really love – and the best part is that these are all available at Wal-Mart! Woohoo! I know I’ve said this a few times before, but I grew up in Arkansas which is where corporate is so we have Wal-Marts everywhere! In fact, where my parents live (very small town), they basically only have a Wal-Mart. My mom was over-the- top excited the other day when I called to tell her about a NYX contouring pencil that I really like [she is all about contouring ever since I taught her] so she went out to get the pencil after I called. It really does make contouring places much easier, though!

Anyway, in order to keep this post as short & simple as possible, I’ll just quickly share a few key items that I really like – let me know if you’d like to see a more in depth post though!

#1. Honey Dew Me Up Primer: I love this product because I have dry skin and desperately need any kind of hydration boost I can get so that makeup goes on smoother looking. This primer has a lightweight, oily texture which soaks in and just leaves my skin soft.

#2. Setting Spray [Matte / Dewy]: I have been asked about affordable setting sprays a lot lately and I have found that many aren’t *that* effective for me personally but I love, love, love the NYX Setting Spray. The matte formula is great for summer if you are oily and want your make-up to stay put! PS. I spray these on my brush before I apply highlighter to make the highlighter pop a little more. 🙂

#3. That’s So Moochi Eyeshadow Palette: Oh-my-stars! I love this palette so much – mainly because I adore the shimmer shades in this palette. They are beautiful and also practical. I like the lighter, champagne shimmer shades for my lid!

#4. Liquid Lingerie Lipstick: If you follow me on IG, you may have heard me rave about these liquid lipsticks! They are SOO good and you can’t beat the price! They dry super matte and work really well if you keep your lips moisturized! Some of the nude shades don’t show up on me super well but one that I think is a fun shade is ‘Exotic’. It is a little darker than I would typically wear but is great for girls who love a statement lip!

#5. Ultimate Palette Warm Neutrals: This palette is kind of a ‘perfect’ palette for anyone who loves a warm eye look! I always use a tan/orange shades in my crease and then a little bit of a dark shade in the corner, and a gold/bronze shade on my lid. I love that this palette covers them all!
