Fall’s MUST-HAVE Boots At Every Price Point

I have worn this sweater SO much and fall hasn’t even hit Tulsa, yet.. so it’s for sure worth the money. I was skeptical to buy this sweater initially because it’s around $100 for a creamy, v-neck sweater. However, I have not seen anything that really compares to it.  I went up a full size so that it can be a bit more oversized (think: poncho) and fall of the shoulder or layered w/scarves or a tee underneath. I wore it a couple of times on our LA trip in August. It’s warm enough to wear throughout the fall & winter – but great for transitional weather since you can let it fall of the shoulder or let it be more v-cut w/ cute, layered necklaces.

But, the real reason for this post is actually BOOTS. Okay, so every single fall the struggle to find the ‘perfect’ boot is REAL. Seriously, the boot struggle is always tough -there’s always like 1-2 styles that are affordable and perfect but they are always sold out or there’s a size 5 and 12 left, lol! And then there’s the Stuart Weitzman boots.. which, don’t get me wrong, I have a few pair of and I do love them but they are expensive! I went upstairs to one of our guest bedrooms that has a huge closet where I store fall & winter clothing. I found two tubs with boots and pulled out my two favorite pair of Stuart Weitzman Highlands. Trust me, I love those boots but I was shopping online last night and realized that Nordstrom has SO many pair of dupes for them that it is cr-azzyyyyy. The boots I am wearing in this post are Steve Madden (I got them during the NSale) and they are a dupe of SW. So, my point for today’s post is this: if you need the perfect over-the-knee boot (aka: OTK boot) now is the time to purchase! So many good colors are in stock right now at Nordstrom alone & all of the sizes! I’m linking a whole widget full at the end of this post. I’m sharing some w/heels & some w/o heels. I personally prefer a heel – I feel like an OTK boot w/a heel just does a number on your legs, but I do love the way these flat OTK boots look as well – they totally just elongate your legs and I’m always up for that. 😉 And let me clarify, I have a the Stuart Weitzman boots & the dupe versions and I will say – you get what you pay for when you purchase the SW boots! However, I feel like the dupes are the better option if you are trying to stick to a budget.

I want that sweater so bad but I want it in grey and the only shops here in EU that sell this sweater only have it in white or green 🙁 I really really hope that they will get in in grey but if they don´t I will buy it in white because it looks amazing on you. I know I can order from USA but the custom duty would make it twice as expensive 🙁

  10. I love my SW boots! But they are so expensive. I cant justify buying them in every color, although i wish. These ones look like the Praline color SW has. I wanted a pair of lowlands in that color but played it safe and got black. Maybe these dupes will solve my issue without dropping tons of cash on one pair.

  14. What size do you wear in the Janessa Leone hats?? I noticed some of the models have the hats resting on top of their heads, rather than actually pulling them down and wearing them. (if that makes sense!!)

    1. I like the medium but I have a larger head, lol. My sis borrows mine and they are way too big for her and my friend Elle wears Janessa and she wears small! Def. try different sizes!
