I love Pike Place Market — one of the main reasons is because of all of the flowers. There’s just something about all of the color & all of the fresh flowers – it just reminds me of a movie or a book. I literally took a billion photos of just the flowers – I did the same thing last year in September. I like take all these photos like I will never see flowers again – LOL. Kind of embarrassing for John. Anyway, Luke was up at his normal time in OK so it was 2 earlier than usual so we were like “okay… let’s just get up and get ready and beat the crowds to the market” – and it worked out perfectly.
On a whole different note – this top is $45 and is seriously SO cute. It comes in 5 colors and can be styled and worn so many ways. I loved the golden/yellow color but wish I had gotten the red for Razorback games as well. And yes those are the same jeans I’ve been wearing a lot – and they are on sale! 🙂
I get asked about how I edit my IG photos a lot and my favorite app is VSCO! It’s so simple to use and it has filters built in that are free so you can just brighten, sharpen, add a filter, and done-zo. 🙂 EDIT* For those asking, I don’t use a specific filter or setting, I do wish it were that simple. I literally have to play around with different filters until I ‘like’ the look of it. Just due to lighting, backgrounds, colors, shadows, etc. there’s no perfect setting or filter that will work on all photos — for me anyway. For example, if you take a photo later in the day inside where it isn’t bright, one filter may work on it – yet that filter may blow out a photo taken in bright sunlight. I would recommend not over-thinking it TOO much because then it just isn’t fun anymore! 🙂
You are looking gorgeous and flawless as always! LOVE your style beauty!

Hey Emily!
Do you have a quick run down of how you edit on vsco? for instance: 1.) up brightness to (whatever number) ___, contrast to ____, etc. and what filter you use! I only use my dslr and it’s so inconvenient with traveling, but plan to get one of the new iphones since i’m still rocking my 6s (note: not a good camera, ha!)
thanks in advance!!
