BEST OF #NSALE BEAUTY
I know the Nordstrom sale posts can be a little overwhelming, but based on the feedback I’ve gotten from you guys, you are using these posts as guides for your shopping. I’ve had so many requests for a full breakdown on the beauty section of the sale – and I attempted to cover it all in one post but boy! It wasn’t possible. There are a lot of great values / deals and I couldn’t squeeze it into one full post. That being said, I’ll be covering some of the best makeup gift sets in a separate post this week.
For today’s post, I’ll be breaking it down to hair & skin products that really stand out to me.
#1 HOT TOOLS
–T3 Blowdryer in White (or black HERE) [Regularly $200 – Now $134]
–GHD Straightener (I’ve had this exact straightener for YEARS & I’ve tried tons of other brands and always come back to this one!) [Regularly $199 – Now $133]
#2 PERFUMES
–Tory Burch [Full size + 1 ounce size]
*There are lots of other great perfumes included in the sale but I wanted to at least mention the 3 that I own and use regularly! Also, I think these deals are best if you are buying and splitting w/a friend or gifting. The reason I love the sale is because my mom comes over a lot and uses my stuff and then wants it so I like being able to give her the extra product!
#3 HAIR PRODUCTS
–Elizabeth & James Dry Shampoo Set [So far I only own the white one – I LOVE the smell and everyone borrows this when they come over! It makes your hair smell amazing, while also making it look clean & voluminous. This comes w/the perfume & rollerball also!]
–Moroccan Oil Shampoo/Condition/Oil [I love this brand most when my hair is very damaged or dry. With my balayage, I’ve had issues w/dryness so lately I have been using this combo quite a bit bc it hydrates my hair and brings it back to life. All of these are really good but if you hair is damaged I’d recommend everything in this set.]
–Aveda Set [I got this in PR and had no idea it was the set from the sale! I have only tried 2 of the products but they were both REALLY good!]
–Living Proof Shampoo / Conditioner / Dry Shampoo [I actually have the travel size – or I did! I really love it – the dry shampoo especially.]
–Alterna Shampoo & Conditioner [I use this combo- and a ton of other products by this brand – I can see a huge difference in my hair after using them.]
–Oribe Travel Size S/C + Texturizing Spray [I use this combo also – the texturizing spray is SO good, smells incredible and gives your hair body & volume! Just wanted to make note that I do often purchase travel bottles & kits like this simply for trips. Makes packing a lot easier and I still travel w/good quality products]
*All of the above shampoo/conditioners are the same ones you’ve seen on my blog before that are holy grail products w/exception of the Aveda. I just started using it the past month and so far I know that I love their
#4 SKINCARE / MISC.
–DKNY Deodorant [Oh. my. goodness! Y’all – this stuff in so good. I’ve never spent $24 on deodorant before but this stuff is worth it! I actually saw it on Amber Fillerups blog eons ago – and thought it was crazy to spend so much on deodorant but then I saw it in real life & smelled it and immediately purchased! Anytime someone sees it in my bathroom and smells it – they go and buy it! I actually ended up using these as stocking stuffers this past Christmas! So buying 3 is not totally pointless – you can gift them or save them or whatever! I promise your friends would love getting this as a gift tho – it isn’t that weird!!]
–My Clarsonic [I use smart profile in my shower!] (my travel one is HERE)
-John’s Clarisonic [Must be out of stock right now?! It was here – I will add it back when it comes in stock – he really likes it. His best friend Leland also uses one – cracks me up!]
–My Face Wash + Exfoliating Wash
–ExfoliKATE [I swear by this stuff – totally saved my skin while pregnant, too.]
–Cocolux Australia [Gold Candle in photo – omg! I bought this in store bc it smells THAT good. It’s a little pricy for 2 small candles but oh-em-gee! Smells delish & looks good sitting out!
–St. Tropez Self Tanner Kit [Same as my shampoo situation – I always buy the travel size ones so I don’t travel w/a full bottle! Or this is a good way for you and a girlfriend to both try it, although you’ll love it! Makes you really brown!]
–Paula’s Choice BHA [I swore by this stuff for my acne / pore size before I did Accutane – so good!]
#5 BEDTIME PRODUCTS
–SILK Pillowcases [You get 2- I keep a clean one in my nightstand so that I can swap them out to wash them – but it’s also a good gift idea!]
–Silk Eye Mask [helps fight aging while you sleep!!]
–Charlotte Tilbury Moisturizer/ Eye Cream / Beauty Sleep in a Cream [I swear by all of these – that magic cream is a game changer!]
–Neck Pillow w/ Lavender [I got this in store and use it almost every single night! Smells amazing & feels so good if you warm it up. It is so relaxing. A ton of you asked ab it on Snapchat last night!]

As far as the mia fit vs alpha fit. I was thinking about getting the alpha fit for my bf and grabbing a radiance brush head for me to use but I wasn’t sure if the alpha fit would be too rough for my face. Do you think it’d be okay for us to share the alpha fit?
YES! Totally – save the $$$$ for something else and just swap heads!!

I just wanted to say you look great- and wouldn’t we all like to be back to our pre-baby weight asap…(I still have 10lbs to go, but it seems like those 10 pounds take up a lot of room in my clothes! haha!) but I think its awesome you are open about not fitting back into everything immediately & being ok with that! Omg! That Donna Karen deodorant is life changing! I love it so much no matter how RIDICULOUS it is. Lol! My husband thought I was crazy when he found out how much it costs but i mean i only use about 3 a year so that’s ok, right? such good stuff!

I’m so conflicted! i want to order the bp v neck pullover and dont know if i should get a large or extra large. i see how the large fits on you and im usually a 6-8 on top so i dont know if extra large would give me the perfect oversized look or if it would be too big. help please!

i absolutely love aveda products and go to an aveda salon. the brilliant spray is something i use every time i get out of the shower. it’s a damage protectant for your hair but also like an adult detangler and i need that ha!
