We got some snow in Tulsa over the weekend!! I wish it would have kept pouring down though, I love super cold weather like this.
I thought I’d quickly update you guys on Baby Gemma. I snapped yesterday that we were going to an appointment and I totally live for those appts because our Doc lets us see him each time we come. Last time we went, we found out I have anterior placenta (just means its right under my belly button so it blocks our view of him) so this time I was hopeful that we’d get to see him better but no such luck. We can barely see him in there so the doctor made an order for us to go to the hospital to the nicer machines for a more formal ultrasound. This way we will get lots of clear shots and pics of him, so I am excited. I mentioned on Twitter that I thought I was feeling him kick when I was in NYC a few weeks back – which was great because the placenta placement is supposed to “mute” his movements so I can’t feel them. BUT, I found out that that little feeling I keep getting every night when I get still in bed is indeed baby Gemma moving around! It is so funny because I look forward to going to bed each night so I can get still and wait for him to kick. Any who, just a little update for those of you who are interested. I really hope this is not boring you!! Also, I just want you guys to know that it is SUCH a relief when you leave comments telling me you had similar experiences – like I literally text and call John and tell him everytime. It makes me feel more normal!
As far as the nursery goes, I do have some fun updates. So the room that is going to be his nursery needs some serious attention! It has carpet in it so we had that taken out and installed new flooring! (I snapped a pic last night!) Today, I am testing out a few paint colors – I may snap the two options so you guys can let me know what you like best!
Cute scarf! And that is so exciting – I can imagine that would be one of the most amazing parts of being pregnant, so it's great that you're starting to experience it!

LOVE your baby updates! Not boring at all! I remember when I first started feeling my son move around it was so amazing. Especially when only I knew it was happening. As the pregnancy progressed and he would kick and elbow me, you could see my stomach moving, and he would roll around in there, and you could see the entire shape of his head or bottom, and it was the weirdest, yet most amazing thing! So glad you are starting to feel the kicks, and even with the placenta where it is, as he grows, you will feel more and more movement. My son NEVER STOPPED MOVING! He was WILD. I joked he would be a soccer player or athlete of some sort, and at 2 years old, he LOVES kicking balls, throwing footballs, and running around all over the place. It is so cool to see the personality you thought they would have while they are still safe in your tummy come out when they enter the world. 🙂 Merry Christmas!
Please don't neglect Insta stories. I would love to see updates on there too. I don't have snapchat.

Love the baby updates, you're getting cuter by the minute!
I have an anterior placenta too! So annoying! I started feeling our baby girl at around 18/19 weeks and for sure at 20 weeks. I'm now 31 weeks along and as you'll soon see the anterior placenta doesn't mean much the further along you go. I'm sitting on the couch having a movie day with my husband and there's constant kicking going on in my stomach ????
How exciting! I keep trying to figure out if what I'm feeling is kicks!

I had a anterior placenta also, I started to feel kicks around 24 so you are very lucky girl. I was dying to feel him just so i know he was okay. I really love the flooring you picked out and the pottery barn elephant. I had everything pottery barn for owen and still til this day.
That's so exciting that you feel your little boy moving! That what I really loved when I was pregnant with my boy. Then as I moved further along in my pregnancy I would see my stomach moving in a wave whenever I was laying down. It was so crazy to see but exciting at the same time! Enjoy these exciting moments!! You're going to have even more fun when your son is here!

I love hearing your Baby Gemma updates! I am 14 weeks pregnant and I was so excited when you announced that you were pregnant too! I know that you're a few weeks ahead of me but how far along are you exactly? And how are you still able to wear non maternal jeans? I am living in leggings these days! xo
So exciting! Feel the babies move was my favorite part of pregnancy. (I hated the rest. LOL! Ugh. I was sick and huge. Bleh. But they were worth it.) Love this cozy look!
Can't wait to see your baby bump! My guy started moving around 19 weeks and hasn't stopped since. I'm sitting on the couch right now feeling his hiccups. Wait until you see your stomach move. That's the best!
Don't worry about your placenta placement! It isn't a complication and is a perfectly safe place for it and actually minimizes your risk of complications like placenta previa. I also had an anterior placenta with our daughter and didn't feel much movement aside from the night time flutters until about 22ish weeks and my husband couldn't feel her or see kicks from the outside until probably 32 or 33 weeks. Of course you want to share the experience with others and let them feel but baby needs that placenta to grow so it will all be worth it in just a few months!
God did not have it in his plan for my husband and I to have children. But I teach third grade, and I can tell you there is nothing boring about a baby or children. A baby was the first gift of Christmas and all children are a precious gift from Him. Following you since about April, it's been wonderful to see God unwrap His plans for your lives. So glad to read about the fashion but especially the growing of your family. Thank you for sharing!!! Merry Christmas
Posts shared useful information and meaningful life, I'm glad to be reading this article and hope to soon learn the next article. thank you
