Christmas Time In New York City

I really wish these photos were not so dark! John flew into NYC last minute because he found out he had the weekend off. It was his first time visiting the city and I was kind of bummed it wasn’t dark out but it got sunnier the next day. We went over to the Plaza (the hotel in my background) and visited this baby store that has the CUTEST clothing. It was dangerous – I limited myself to two items, lol! This babe is going to have quite the wardrobe! PS. Did you see the cute doodle onesies I got him Fitz got him.
 
In other news, I picked up these black Louboutins from Nordstrom recently and I have been wearing them SO much. My nude Louboutins were my first ever designer show purchase and I have totally gotten my money’s worth. That being said, during the winter and during the holiday season, I really needed a black pair. Nordstrom has SO many great shoes for holiday parties & events! I also got THIS plaid pair, as well. I just found THESE glittery pumps this morning and am so close to ordering them. I also love these that are around $100 – and have a bow on the toe!
 
Also, if you are on the hunt for a cool, casual black jacket – this one is SO great! It has a drapy look so it can be dressy or casual and then it has a faux leather trim around it. So cute.

  9. You look gorgeous as usual dear Emily and so do your pumps. What I am always wondering is if your feet aren't horribly cold? You wear thick hats and scarves and sweaters but naked feet in open shoes. I for sure couldn't stand that with current temperatures, but maybe it's just for the picture. 🙂 Greetings from Germany

  30. I could be biased but I think NYC is the prettiest place to visit around Christmas time! The store windows, the tree, its all so pretty. The city does a great job of having decor all over the place! Glad you and John got to experience it 🙂

    Ps. I just bought the L'Oreal Double extend mascara to try out! I cannot wait to see how this primer works 🙂
