Chic All Black For Christmas Time

Can you guys believe Christmas is next weekend!?!?! Holy cow. It seems like the last 3 months literally flew by… I don’t hate that since I am pregnant though. Speaking of, last week I googled “which trimester goes by the fastest?” – and most people said the third which brought some relief. I’d like to hear what you guys think about that though! The first trimester did feel like forever but that was because I was sick. 
 
So yea, I am wearing all black again! When we went to OH for Thanksgiving, I packed SO much black because I was feeling so puffy. Even now, I am sure people are like “is she pregnant or did she have 15 tacos for lunch?” because I am totally in the awkward stage. I’ve been loving any black turtleneck sweaters from Nordstrom though – you maybe already noticed. Black is so flattering and also so chic so I feel less puffy in it. 🙂 This cowl neck sweater I am wearing sold out quickly – but I found a similar style at Nordstrom that is only $27 here. Even if you aren’t expecting, all black is an easy outfit for the holidays – especially if you accessorize and wear really cute heels or shoes! 🙂 Oh – btw-  I got the cutest little Santa house slippers from Nordstrom in on Friday! I am pretty sure Fitz thinks they are for him though bc they have a little bell on them!

  6. The first trimester seemed like it took forever because I was sick. The second really flew by for me. I grew out of the sick feeling, had more energy and grew into my baby bump 🙂 just hit the third trimester and I'm starting to have some insomnia and other crazy symptoms so this trimester I feel like it's going to drag by plus we are so ready to meet our sweet boy!!

  10. Yes first trimester was awful for me too! Sick all the time. Second I had so much energy and loved when my belly showed and I could begin to feel baby kick towards the end of second. Third was not so great towards the end. Being 4'11" I struggled with severe back pain and my frame did NOT like the extra weight. Also, had awful heartburn in the end. By the time the third comes along you just want to meet your little bundle of joy. In the end it is all so worth it, but it is not all roses though.

  29. I will say that it feels like each one flew by but this last trimester has been almost nonexistent. Maybe it's because you are counting down single digit weeks to baby or because you have much to do before the big day. I'm going to go with the latter. I'm only 6 weeks away from due date and getting more and more excited by the day.
