The past couple of years I’ve really loved wearing pleated midi skirts into/during the fall. Since fall is right around the corner (I’m being an optimist here!), I was hoping to find more pleated midis because I love wearing them to church, weddings, etc. Earlier this week I was on Nordstrom’s site and saw this chartreuse one in the New Arrivals and added it to my cart immediately. The color is super vibrant & gorgeous – and can be pair w/neutrals or warm colors this fall. For size reference, I am typically a 4 in pants & I’m 5’6 – and I am wearing the US6 (which is 2-4). Oh – and if you don’t like bright colors, this one comes in navy & is part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale (which ends August 6th!)
Also, white lace tops are a great piece to add to your wardrobe – they go well tucked into denim, skirts, etc. I recently found a few cute lace tops on Nordstrom that I think will be perfect for fall!
In other news, John and I are heading to Dallas for the weekend! One of our friends / resident is getting married & we are attending our first Hindu wedding. Do you all have any fun plans this weekend?!

Love this! My grandma always had amazing style and when she passed away I was able to keep some of her clothes and purses. Midi skirts used to be all the rage when she was a working professional so I made sure to keep a few. I love them!!!
