I had SOO many questions about this outfit on Thursday when I was Snapchatting (@emilyanngemm) with this on… First of all, I’m a huge Valentino fan… I just ordered THIS handbag from Nordstrom! Nordstrom has a really good selection of Valentino right now soo ( :/ ). There’s a new pair of Valentino pumps I want (here) and John is like ‘no way, you have some just like those already!”, but they have turquoise studs on them! Being Native American and all – my entire life I’ve always worn turquoise in the summer months. (or maybe I just like the stone and color for summer?! My dad says its the Indian in me!!)

The outfit is cute, and the shoes are great, but what is that with the turquoise bit? I'm Passamaquoddy, and it's not like being Native automatically means one has to like or wear turquoise. That's an unnecessary generalization – you like turquoise, and that's totally cool, but please don't make it a race thing when it's a personal preference.
Love the earrings you paired with that top. And that top is so Tibi like but at a much more affordable price point, so I'm loving it.
