One day while in Los Angeles, Elle & I went to Disney’s California Adventure. My family does a Disney World trip every other year so I made sure to pack my Minnie Ears from our past trips! For those asking, Elle got hers at the Disney store in park- I got mine at the same store at Disney World (you don’t have to order them online or anything!). You can get all different styles, but a majority of them have sequins like ours.

I’ve actually never been to Disney Land (only World), but sometime I wanted to go there also! I was wishing John were there with us because he would’ve loved it! 

It was SO fun getting out of the 30 degree weather and spending a few days in LA in the 60+ degree weather. We visited Pepperdine on Tuesday – Elle had been considering going to a graduate program there (I don’t want her to move away though.). It’s seriously the most amazing campus… ahhh. I don’t know how people can study living there. I was dying when I found out that it is common for college campuses to bring PUPPIES on campus during finals week – why did that not exist when I was in school?!?!!? 

Also, for those asking about outfits for trips to Disney — comfy shoes are a MUST. Seriously, don’t waste a second trying to wear cute ones. Also, I was so happy I grabbed this Wildfox sweatshirt – it’s a soft material & it is not heavy it was perfect for the weather in CA. (PS. I got it for Valentine’s day!!) Also, a cross bodybag is essential. I love being able to hop on a ride and not worry about it going anywhere.

  6. Looks like you ladies had a fun time!! I have only been to Disney World and that was when I was 4 years old. Love your sweatshirt and definitely with you on the comfy shoe thing! I learned my lesson during my honeymoon. :-/ I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!! 🙂

    I actually went to a pet friendly college so people would bring their puppies, dogs and cats to class. Yes, cats. It was awesome though!

  20. I have been an avid Disney goer (Pass holder for Disneyland FOREVER) and I have never purchased ears! I am super jealous and now I think I need t get some on Sunday when I go! Glad you love sunny Southern California!!!
