CABO

Many of you know, I spent last week in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with one of my blogger besties, Caitlin. We partnered with ShopbellaC for the trip & stayed at their vacation home ‘Casa Verde’ located at the top of Pedregal. (For those asking, this was not a resort. But there is a very nice resort at the base of Pedregal if you’d like to check it out!) ShopbellaC is a online boutique (they also have storefront) with some super cute clothes! If you followed on IG last week, you may have noticed I was wearing a some cute ShopbellaC things.

This was actually the second time Caitlin & I visited Cabo – last August we went together & John traveled with us. It was the first time for all of us so we were learning, so this time around was easier, & more fun! That begin said, I’ll share all of my outfits first, then I’ll share some tips & recommendations, thennnnn some random extras I found on my phone!

Pool/Lunch Outfit || Shopbellac Cover-up, Hat, Bag, Wedges

Sunset Cruise details || Cover-up (also worn as a shirt on Instagram here), Green Ray-Bans

Details || Pink Bow Dress (only $46)
Travel Outfit || ShopbellaC Maxi (Sidenote, I arrived in Dallas and had to drive home through straight storms & tornadoes.. I actually stopped at a McAlisters (in true Emily fashion) and grabbed dinner while John mapped out the best way home to avoid tornadoes! Well, every single employee in McAlisters individually went crazy over this dress! I don’t know if the picture really does it justice!

On the drive from the airport to the house, I quizzed my driver on all of the hidden spots, his favorites, etc. We ended up taking his advice!

Recommendations:
-Senor Sweets: This is a must! Great coffee, great lunch, great breakfast, etc. The menu has a variety, which is great for picky eaters like myself! Also, the food is just incredible!
-The Office: I think this is considered a ‘given’. It is on the beach so the setting is just fun. This time we went for lunch & I ordered soup which was really good! I’ve also heard they have amazing breakfast & great coffee.
-Guadalamaya: This was one of the recommendations from the driver! The service was amazing (+ they had Diet Coke and wi-fi!) This place has authentic quesadillas which are fried! I wasn’t in love with them, but I did love their tacos. We ate here twice.
-Billygan’s: This is right next to The Office -they serve food and drinks! We didn’t eat here, but we did get the cute pineapple drinks here. The service here was super good!
-MUST DO: We have taken boat rides both times in Cabo and it is hands down the BEST part! We always save it for our last night there. They will drive you to the Arch, where you will see SEALS! I love the seals! And then they’ll just take you for a cruise (I’m not sure where it goes exactly), but you’ll be able to see the crashing waves & beautiful scenery.
-TIMING: The ‘high season’ in Cabo is October – Mid-March.. this is when there is less wind, great temps, & WHALES! It was not whale season when we were there but we did get to see a Great Whale and had a BALL watching up jump up and do tricks. When we were there (first week of May), the weather was SO nice… but kind of windy!
-TIP: Also, if you need wifi while at these restaurants, ALWAYS ask your waiter for the password! It was great for us because we couldn’t get our phones to work without wifi!

Here are few random extra snaps… you can see our ride for the week!
