Whether you are a winding down your semester or taking off for the Holidays, one of the best parts of Christmas (and the cold weather) is staying inside and doing very little. In fact, for me those times are my favorite Christmas memories! Last winter, John was doing his ER rotation in Lawton, OK, while I stayed in Arkansas with my parents. My mom was a kindergarten teacher & her school was cancelled due to inclement weather so we spent 2-3 days in a row on the couch together watching Netflix. It’s funny how simple memories like that stick out and become favorite memories. Mom is the best at making fudge – and chili. So we sipped hot chocolate, ate her magical (lol) fudge, chili, & fought over the electric blanket, ha! Speaking of my Mom, her birthday was a couple of weeks ago and I got her this Scrabble Coffee Mug as one of her gifts.. (she’s a champ at Scrabble!).
