Easy Holiday Outfit Ideas..

I’ve recently been asked to do a post on outfit ideas for the upcoming Holidays.. I loved the idea because I think we are all in the same boat. John & I are traveling this Thanksgiving so I am having to plan my outfits over the weekend because Monday & Tuesday we’ll be working & finishing last minute errands. I am sharing 5 looks below that I think would be great for this Holiday season if you are looking to stay casual. And I am also sharing what I’ll probably wear for traveling (weather permitted).

This look is probably one of my favorites form this fall. You guys know I am crazy over my tan OTK boots.. I like that they take the outfit up a notch, yet still keep it comfortable.

I don’t even have to explain – tissue turtleneck + light jacket.. you can’t go wrong.

Toss in trendy items like the blanket scarf and/or a leopard beanie & your set for this holiday. You’ll be cute & warm!
Cozy + Comfy.. (See full post here.)

When we are with John’s family we always go stay out at the family cabin for at least one night. This kind of look is perfect for a cozy setting where you don’t plan on doing too much. 😉 

Simple but Chic.. (see full post here.)

This look is for the girl that likes to keep it chic for the holidays. Personally, I would save an outfit like this for a dinner or lunch. When we go to Ohio (John’s family) I get to see my best friend Hillary & we always go out for a dinner (and shopping while the guys watch sports.)

As for the actual traveling.. I just got THIS sweatshirt – it’s so soft & you gotta love a fun, graphic sweatshirt. ALSO, we are going to be doing some traveling this holiday season where it will be super cold w/snow so I just picked up THESE boots & John got THESE. And you probably already saw Fitz’ puffer vest.. we have to keep that cutie warm, too!

  4. Cozy + Comfy is by far my favourite look for relaxing with the family around Thanksgiving. It looks so comfortable but still put together enough to be okay with the in-laws 😉

    Simple but Chic would be perfect for a trip where you will be walking around town a lot.

  12. Any suggestions for a slightly more formal Thanksgiving lunch? I still want our pictures to look sort of cozy and "family-ish" though. Literally obsessed with your blog BTW.
