Shift dresses are perfect transitional pieces… I’m pairing mine today with boots, but in a couple of months I’ll swap them out for wedges. The colors in this dress really caught my eye, I am a sucker for turquoise. We got 20 (or more) inches of snow here, then the sun came out and it was perfect weather for this outfit (during the daytime of course). I forgot how crazy the weather in Virginia can be… during John’s 2nd year of medical school when we were here, I remember going with him to dinner in January in short sleeves, then getting snow in April.
